Year 9 students (Form 3) - CHOOSE 2 OPTIONS

Each option will run for a semester (6 months)

Students should discuss choice with Form Teachers

 

 

Year 10 students (Form 4) - choose up to 4 options

These will run as 2 in the first semester (six months) and 2 in the second semester

 

Study the course outlines carefully before you decide and discuss your decisions with

your parents, your year level Dean, and if necessary, the Careers Adviser or a member of the Futures Team.

 

If you wish to study a course for 2 semesters (1 year) you must discuss this with your year level Dean

At Year 11 [Form 5] students must take a course of study in SIX subjects - Maths, Science, English, and three options with the approval of the Dean. 

NOTE:  Make a clear distinction between the following:

NCEA Level 1 or Communications English and NCEA Level 1 Mathematics or Mathematics Applied.

 

 

All Year 12 [Form 6] students must take a course of English and should choose SIX subjects.

NOTE:  Make a clear distinction between the following:

NCEA Level 1 English or Sixth Form Certificate English or Communications English

 

All Year 13 [Form 7] must choose FIVE subjects.
