      Students learn basic economic concepts and apply them to current issues.

    They investigate how individual firms and governments make decisions about income and expenditure while taking into account environmental management.

3 hour Bursary Examination.

20% internal assessment.

Students who have completed SFC Accounting

J    Course outline:

Bursary Accounting builds on SFC course but the entities to be studied are partnerships and companies which may be service, trading or manufacturing enterprises.

Ë        Decision Making

3 hour Bursary Examination

NZ Diploma in Business Studies.

TEXT & INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

 

 Unit Standards & NZCETA

 

J    Who can enrol?

Open

 

J    Costs:

J    Course outline:

Students follow individual courses of study, choosing packages from Modules and Unit standards.  They use the Microsoft Office package which includes Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Desk Top Publishing, Mail Merge and Power Point programmes.

NZQA Unit standards.

NZCETA Text and Information Management exams.

Business Studies courses in Tertiary institutions.
